The Gold Horizons brand offers a high quality Spa Starter Kit. The starter kit is an efficient and effective way for you to keep your spa clean and crystal clear. The kit contains all of the essential chemicals, it effectively helps to keep water clean and prevent algae. 4-Way strips are included and used for checking if the alkalinity, chlorine and pH levels of your spa water are suitable for bathing.
This Spa Starter Kit contains 500g Stabilised Chlorine Granules, 750g pH Minus, 500g pH Plus, 500g TA plus & 4-Way Chlorine Test Strips
Also includes a handy starter guide explaining how to use your chemicals and care for your spa/hot tub.
Please note: As with all chemical products, instructions and warnings should be followed extremely carefully.
Application Instructions
Ideal free chlorine range: 3 – 5mg/l
1.
Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If not in this range,
adjust.
2. Maintain free chlorine level within the ideal range of 3 – 5mg/l.
3. Commissioning freshly filled new hot tubs or ones left drained for a
period of time: Following latest guidance, a commissioning dose of 50mg/l
free chlorine maintained for a minimum of one hour is recommended.
4. If the water temperature is 200C or higher, this product can be carefully
broadcast directly over the hot tub water surface. If in doubt, pre-dissolve
this product in a clean plastic container at a rate of 10g per one litre of
clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved, then add to
the hot tub with the filter running.
5. Repeat dose if necessary to achieve free chlorine level in step 2.
6. It is recommended that you periodically (e.g., weekly or after prolonged hot
tub use) shock dose your hot tub with Gold Horizons Spa Revive to
eliminate any excess contamination.
